Have you heard of "millennial pink"? Chances are, even if you don't know it by that name, you've seen it popping up in your Instagram feeds. It's been the hottest color around since it was named Pantone's Color of the Year for 2016 (as Rose Quartz). This year, the new hot color on the block is UltraViolet, and it's showing signs of sticking around.

UltraViolet is a deep blue-purple, both magical and calming. And, best of all, it makes a great color to add to your wedding. If you want to be among the first to take advantage of this unique hue for your big day, here are some ways you can incorporate it.
Ultra Violet Flowers
Whether you're looking to create a more traditional bouquet, or something a little more whimsical, there are many options for you. Think purple roses or orchids for something a little more classical, or purple hydrangeas or a sweet little nosegay made of all violets for a bouquet they'll be fighting over.

Incorporating It into the Dress
If you're feeling bold, and looking for a break from tradition, you can try an all-over ultraviolet gown for your big day. If you'd rather stick to a classic white dress, there are still ways to bring the hue to you. You can add a ribbon, bow, or sash to the waist or bustle, add a touch of embroidery or lace, choose a dress with watercolor detail, or even add a crinoline under a shorter dress.
Ultra Violet Shoes
It's always fun and flirty to see a pop of color peeking out from under a gown, and shoes are no different. Whether you opt to go for an all-over color, or just paint the sole purple, this is a great way to incorporate the color into your look.
Add Some Accessories
Accessorizing in ultraviolet is fun, too, whether you choose to add an ultraviolet fascinator (a must if you're giving a nod to any of the royal weddings this year), jewel-toned jewelry, ties for the guys, or even just a cuff-link. A featured color doesn't have to overwhelm the big day. Little whispers of ultra violet will be effective, too.
Ultra Violet Decor
Whether your wedding is outdoors or in, there are many ways to add a pop of color. Thanks to the richness of the hue, ultra violet makes a great option for table cloths or napkins. It's easy to add with ribbons,
A Signature Cocktail
You can still create an ultraviolet signature drink for your big day.   Think lavender syrup, blueberries, or black currants, mint and herbs to add a little color to your beverage. We love the look of these Purple Rain insipired drinks
