Princeton Wedding Welcome Box

Who loves orange soda? We do!  So of course it had to be a major element in this Princeton themed wedding welcome box.  The box is given to out-of-town guests, and this particular one is based on the University's colors of orange and black.  In addition to the orange soda, we've included some appropriately colored snacks - chocolate Princeton Tiger cookies, an apricot and mixed nuts trail mix, espresso beans (for energy to dance the night away!) and crispy dried mandarin orange slices, which we were skeptical about, but are actually really tasty.  Just goes to show how much fun you can have theme-ing up your welcome box.

Wedding Emergency Kit

With all of the major elements that the bride is worrying about on her big day, some of the little details can be easily forgotten.  That is why we always come equipped with a day-of emergency kit.  Mary’s has grown over the years, as each wedding she does, she discovers more and more items that would be useful to have on hand.

J. Crew is now selling a line of “Pinch Provisions EmergencyKits,” which would make for cute bridesmaids’ gifts, but mind you, these only scratch the surface of what we actually come prepared with on the day of.

And if you’re looking for a great bridal shower gift idea, why not compile a kit with some of these items.

Here’s Mary’s list:

Aspirin, band-aids, water, clear nail polish, dental floss, eye drops, extra earring backs, extra panty hose, hair ties, mini sewing kit, safety pins, tape, scissors, stain remover, static cling spray, tissues, tweezers, mints, brush, cash, hair spray, makeup, mirror, tampons, q-tips, makeup remover, deodorant, perfume, baby powder, chalk, tums, pens, superglue, extra pair of shoes, bobby pins, eyelash glue, fashion tape, nail file, toothbrush and toothpaste...

… just to name a few.

June Backyard Wedding

My favorite comment from Meg and Jon's backyard wedding was from a bridesmaid that said the wedding looked exactly like her Pinterest board!  I thought that was such a great compliment.  Had a great time as always working with Feastivities Events, Kiss the Bride Films, Dahlia Florals and new friend David E. Stark Photography.
